As any chef will tell you, a meal is at its best the moment it has been prepared. That's when we freeze it. By doing so, we retain all the goodness and flavour.
Each meal has a long shelf life, please refer to the 'best before' date on the label.
All soups and entrées are simply cooked directly from the freezer. Desserts should be thawed.
Our soups and entrées can be cooked in a microwave or conventional oven. We do not recommend toaster ovens.
Our entrées are labeled with cooking instructions for both heating methods. Our microwave instructions are developed based on a 1000w microwave. If you are unsure of microwaves wattage, use this Copper County Foods Microwave Conversion Chart to help.
Most soups and meals take anywhere from 3 to 12 minutes in a microwave and 25 to 55 minutes in an oven.
All of our soups and entrées are prepared at our Federally inspected, CFIA approved kitchen in Brampton, Ontario. A very small proportion of products are produced by other approved suppliers in Canada or elsewhere.
Yes, our entrée packaging carries the recycle code #1, our soup bowl carries code #5 and the dessert pot has either recycle code #2 or #6. In most municipalities, these can be placed in your blue bin.
Any regular microwave oven, stove or freezer available from any appliance store will be fine. You don't need any special equipment to use our service.
